About the Studio

ARTWORK.E.V is a French studio dedicated to geometric sculpture in wood and tensioned thread.

Since 2014, the practice has explored three-dimensional geometry through the construction of Platonic and derived forms. Each sculpture combines precisely assembled oak structures with hand-tensioned linear thread systems, revealing internal geometric relationships within space.

All works are developed and produced in the studio in France. The process involves careful woodworking, drilling, assembly, and individual thread tensioning to achieve structural clarity and visual balance.

The work is not decorative in intent, but sculptural — forms conceived to exist in space, interacting with light, depth, and perspective. Sculptures are produced in limited numbers or as unique pieces, and are held in private collections internationally.

The Workshop

The studio workshop is an integral part of the practice.

It is a space dedicated to research, prototyping, and precise fabrication, where each geometric structure is developed through iterative construction and refinement. Over years of work, the workshop has evolved into a specialized environment for creating complex spatial forms in wood.

Every sculpture passes through this space — from raw material to finished geometric object.
